John Kring
John has served as Skyline’s President and Chief Operating Officer since October 2008 and held the position of general manager of the company since 2005. He previously served as senior project leader supporting numerous clients. Prior to joining Skyline, from 2000 to 2003, he was vice president of application development and principal at Radical Logistics, a logistics software company based in Atlanta. John served as the director of decision technologies at Schneider National from 1997 to 2000 and various leadership and software engineering positions from 1989 to 1997. At Schneider National, John earned three patents on the freight rating technology he invented. John received his BBA with a double major in computer science and management information systems from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire in 1989. He earned an MBA in 1993 from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh.
