Kenny Young
Director, Cloud Computing and Development
Kenny currently serves as the Director of Cloud Computing and Development at Skyline Technologies. His main areas of technical responsibilities are application lifecycle management and cloud computing.
Kenny is a former consultant and entrepreneur who has an extensive background in enterprise architecture and software development. During his career, he successfully managed internationally based teams on multimillion dollar projects spanning years with fortune 100, 500 and 1000 companies. Prior to joining Skyline, Kenny served as the Director of Applications and Planning at Air Wisconsin. He built and lead a high performance team of application managers, system analysts, business analysts and partners, data warehouse developers, SharePoint developers and administrators, and business intelligence analysts. He is also a co-founder of the NEW Agile Users group and is very active in the technical and local community.
Kenny earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy pre-law from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree through Walden University. In addition, he has earned a post graduate diploma in applied information technology, a certificate in project management, and he is a certified SCRUM master.
