Safari 8 on iPhone 8.2 has an issue that may continuously prompt the user for their credentials. The information I found on the internet talks about creating a forms based login page or “just use chrome” etc. as solutions. I created this simple to implement solution that address the issue by using a custom .browser file. While this article specifically refers to iPhone in a SharePoint 2013, the same solution could be used to work with other devices, or browser specific, issues that you need to granularly control.

I have had a number of clients recently that have asked about SharePoint patching and noticed “odd” behavior. This post follows up and expands on a post that I published in January. In general, blindly applying patches to a SharePoint server using Automatic updates, or Windows Updates can cause your environment to become potentially unstable and even cause on outage.
