Skyline Technologies’ Jeff Weber Recognized by Microsoft for Windows Phone 7 Expertise
Green Bay, WI (April 18, 2011) -- Skyline Technologies associate Jeff Weber continues to be recognized as a worldwide leader in Windows Phone 7 development. As evidence, Microsoft and LG recently brought Jeff to Redmond, WA, where Microsoft is headquartered, as part of an elite 10-member team. The team evaluated the effectiveness of new techniques designed to improve look and feel as well as usability of the Windows Phone 7 platform. Microsoft and LG provided training on these principles with the expectation that the developers will incorporated them into the applications they develop.
Jeff was selected for this honor due to the popularity of his Krashlander and Krashlander Free applications. Across all Microsoft Marketplace applications, Krashlander Free has been rated the third highest in quality and is the 7th most downloaded application (the 3rd most downloaded game).
Recognizing this success, Microsoft’s Ben Lower, a Senior Product Manager for the Windows Phone Developer Ecosystem, reached out to Jeff and asked him to participate. Ben, working with LG, was looking for an exciting set of games to make available through the LG marketplace to accompany the launch of their new Windows Phone 7 devices.
