What your typical day looks like

  • Partner with clients in developing requirements and business processes for use with Microsoft SharePoint and Office 365, including PowerApps and Flow.
  • Plan and/or implement the Information Architecture for the optimal solution.
  • Configure SharePoint (on-premises and online) using SharePoint’s out-of-the-box functionality.
  • Prepare and conduct mentoring sessions or training sessions for clients on SharePoint and Office 365 features.

What we look for (minimum requirements)

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Business or a similar discipline.
  • Have experience in modeling business processes and gathering requirements for small to mid-sized projects.
  • Possess a unique combination of platform knowledge, business acumen and interpersonal skills.
  • Be comfortable in technical details but equally comfortable training end users,  explaining tangible business returns to executives, and educating on governance, usability, and adoption.
  • Strive to eliminate ambiguity in, or varying interpretations of a requirement.
  • Be able to prepare requirements documentation in a format understandable to the recipient audience.
  • Merge business needs with the capabilities that the platform offers and how it can be leveraged to most effectively satisfy business objectives.
  • Balance time, budget and scope to determine the most successful solution or approach.
  • Provide timely updates and solicit feedback through open dialogue with the internal Portals & Collaboration team
  • Have a general understanding of traditional and Agile project management methodologies.
  • Possess analytical and problem solving skills as well as organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Have the ability to balance multiple projects while remaining focused on the needs of end users, clients and the Project Manager.
  • Have knowledge of web development or application development.
  • Have knowledge of developing in Microsoft technologies.
  • Be able to develop test cases and conduct appropriate testing prior to software deployment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in the gray and provide direction internally and externally.
  • Provide direction and feedback in difficult and/or challenging situations.
  • Create an open dialogue with internal and external team members to ensure client and team expectations are being met.
  • Experience as a SharePoint power-user is preferred.
